Action Fund & Medina County Dolly Parton Imagination Library Donations
The Action Fund is a low-barrier hardship fund focused on addressing unmet community needs that threaten self-sufficiency. While there are many formal funds and support programs, strict eligibility guidelines restrict access to some of our most fragile citizens. The Action Fund is able to respond quickly to imminent needs through an efficient application, determination, and disbursement process. The Action Fund is administered with existing staff and administrative resources, so 100% of every dollar donated goes toward direct support!
Areas of potential support:
- Utility assistance not covered by existing programs
- Rent/Mortgage assistance not covered by existing programs
- Transportation/Vehicle expenses
- Assistance with vehicle fuel for work, school, and medical needs
- Addressing needs preventing formal program participation
- Home repair, disability access, and safety needs
- Employment readiness (training, equipment)
- Prosocial activities for youth
CAWM is proud to be the Local Program Partner for the Medina County Dolly Parton Imagination Library! We are tasked with raising the almost $200,000/year needed to provide over 73,000 books to over 6,000 Medina County children between the ages of 0 and 5. Much like the Action Fund, every dollar donated to MCDPIL goes toward purchasing books for Medina County children!
