2013 Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program (EHEAP):

The Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program begins November 1, 2012 - March 31, 2013 for Wayne and Medina County residents.

This Federally funded program is administered by the Ohio Development Services Agency, Office of Community Assistance with the purpose of helping low-income Ohioans meet the high cost of home heating.

The Emergency HEAP program provides assistance ONCE per heating season to income eligible households that are disconnected, threatened with a disconnect, or have less than a 10 day supply of bulk fuel.

 

Appointment Days:

Monday, Thursday, and (morning only) Friday.

Walk in Days:

Tuesday and Wednesday - Sign in starts at 8:00 AM for the morning session and 12:00 PM for the afternoon session.

 

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED:

Photo ID
Gas Bill - If gas heat or supplier - For propane/fuel oil
Electric Bill
Social Security cards for all household members
Proof of Income for the last 90 days
If you rent, landlords contact information: Name, Address, Phone Number

Unemployment Benefits
Worker's Compensation
Retirement Benefits
VA Benefits
VA Disability Benefits
SSDI Benefits
