ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• To install materials as assigned per the Minimum Weatherization Program Standards (MWPS).
• Responsible for the safe operation, use, and care of all assigned tools and equipment.
• Responsible for reporting to the supervisor any loss or breakage of tools, equipment or other agency property, as well as damage to client or other non-agency property.
• Attend all training necessary to obtain thorough knowledge of agency, job and program standards.
• All other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow all safety precautions dealing with power tools, ladders and protective equipment.
• Climb and/or work on ladder, maximum of 30 feet high.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Six months experience or knowledge of construction or weatherization techniques or other related fields.
• Ability to properly use hand/power tools and accurately use a tape measure.
• Ability to follow directions and work with others.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in confined spaces for some length of time.
• Ability to relate to the needs and concerns of low income individuals.
• May require a valid Ohio driver’s license and insurability by the agency’s liability insurance carrier.
• Must successfully pass criminal records check and pre-employment drug screen.
