ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• To provide safe transportation on the bus for the children in the program.
• Encourage parents to follow proper safety procedures when not on the bus.
• Participate in planning for field trips and other special events at the center.
• Provide support in the classroom for a portion of each work day.
• Plan and implement an effective bus route which meets all regulations/laws and time frames.
• Complete all paperwork as required by program and law.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL with S&P endorsements.
• State of Ohio preservice certificate.
• Be able to communicate in writing and verbally.
• Complete all training's required by Licensing agent.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Own transportation.
• Must be insurable for driving.
• Willing to travel.
• Be sensitive to low income families.
• Must successfully pass criminal records check, pre-employment drug screening, and physical.
