Community Action Wayne/Medina's Electric Partnership Program teams with clients to save on electric energy. The program utilizes a variety of energy conservation measures to assist clients in lowering electric bills. EPP services are available to moderate to high energy use households who are enrolled in the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIP). Household utilizing EPP services must be pre-approved by the State of Ohio, OEE.
EPP ACTIVITIES:
- Consumer Energy Education
- Installation of high efficiency Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs (CFL), low-flow shower heads and kitchen sink aerators
- Replacement of high-use refrigerators and freezers with energy efficient models
- Additional electric saving services may apply
CAW/M provides similar services to select households through the Ohio Edison/First Energy Community Connections Program.
