The Early Head Start (EHS) program operates under the principle that learning starts the minute a child enters the world. Infants and toddlers in this program receive quality childcare that emphasizes growth and development. Early Head Start serves pregnant moms and children age birth to 3.
Children ages 3 to 5 make up CAW/M's Preschool Head Start (PHS) program. This program introduces children to education through a method that allows their interests to guide the learning process. Children take part in activities that help them grow mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Triway Preschool is a collaboration between CAW/M and Triway Local School District. This program, for children ages 3 and 4, follows the same format as Head Start. Children attending Triway Preschool are encouraged to use their own creative nature to learn. Enrollment in Triway Preschool is mostly for families whose income is below 185 percent of poverty.
